To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Adidas posted a photo of the legs and feet of a same sex couple, with the caption, “The love you take is equal to the love you make”.
Well, apparently not. The picture sparked a barrage of homophobic comments, a small and delightful sample of which you can check out here:
Adidas didn’t seem that bothered, and responded beautifully:
They seemed perfectly happy to wave ‘americanhero123′ off to Nike, and had a powerful message for ‘azemann’. And it certainly seems that they’ve gained more fans than they’ve lost…

Besides, it wasn’t all bad. A lot of the comments on the original Instagram picture were positive and supportive, shutting down the homophobes.
