We’re used to seeing Hugh Jackman as a superhero. Except it’s normally on a big screen and he has sharp claws to help him save the day.
This time he saved the day in real life. Jackman sprang into life at Bondi Beach in Sydney when a ferocious riptide kicked up and threatened to drag some unaware swimmers out to sea. Jackman, who was enjoying a swim with his 15-year-old son, helped a young girl’s father save her from being pulled under, before going back to save his own son, Oscar, too.
Jackman has just returned him from promoting his latest film, Eddie the Eagle. We were fortunate enough to catch up with him and it turns out he’s not just a hero, he knows how to have fun as well.
