ASOS Are Introducing A New Service That Lets You “Try Before You Buy”

I’d really hate to know the amount of money I’ve wasted on buying clothes online that haven’t fitted me and I’ve been too lazy to send back.

It’s unforgivable really, especially when you’re on a budget like me, and now I’ve just ended up with a wardrobe full of clothes that either don’t fit me or I simply don’t like.

First world problems, ey.

But thanks to ASOS, there’s now a solution to my problems, because they’re letting customers try before they buy.

Yep, you read that right, so prepare to say goodbye to any money you might have left.

You’ll be glad to know it’s pretty simple too. All you’ve got to do is download the ASOS app on your phone, be at least 18, and have an email, mobile number and UK address.

Then all you’ve got to do is shop until you drop, add whatever takes your fancy to your basket, and wait for the clothes to arrive.

You won’t pay for any of this, as you’ll only be charged for what you keep, with the service giving you 30 days to return the items before they take the payment out through Klarna Pay Later.

You won’t be charged any interest or fees either, but just make sure you don’t wear everything out and then try and send it back.

I’m pretty sure they won’t let that fly.

Speaking about the brand’s new shopping feature, Nicola Thompson, Global Trading Director at ASOS said:

“We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the ASOS experience for our 15.4 million customers around the world.

“We know people love the option of paying later only for the things they keep, and are excited to introduce this for customers shopping on our app in the UK.”

It’s probably the best news since they announced same-day delivery, however, the service is only available for people in the UK, so sorry American friends.

People are pretty hyped about it:

So what are you waiting for? Get shopping!

(proceeds to fill up bag as we speak.)
